Environmental Management
Clients regularly ask us about our environmental goals and the compliance with it. Apart from continuously looking for and developing sustainable solutions for our production and products, we are also ISO 14001 certified. What does that mean?
ISO 14001 is an international standard for environmental management systems. What is taken into account when assessing companies according to that standard:
- The environmental policy
- The planning, including an environmental risk analysis
- The implementation and execution
- Control over this and possible corrective actions
- Assessment by the board
In this way, ISO 14001 ensures that the environmental risks of business operations are limited or even reduced. Specific examples of this are drawing up sustainability goals, reducing energy consumption or (partially) switching to green energy, waste separation and reduction and the reduction or avoidance of hazardous substances.
