CHILDREN INHERIT THE EARTH
As a family business, we realise that our children should be able to enjoy our planet for a long time to come. To safeguard their future and that of the earth, sustainability is one of our top priorities. Thanks to recent developments, more and more innovative, sustainable alternatives are available to us.
In our laboratory, we are continuously focussed on developing more sustainable concepts and products. Yet, we don't just pay attention to our production process and products. The people behind our products are equally important, because without our employees, Havo couldn't exist.
Below, you'll read how we are moving step by step toward a more sustainable future together.
Product
In both product and packaging, we use raw materials that are not harmful to the environment: from eco-bottles and buckets made of recycled materials to poster paints made of 98% naturally sourced ingredients. When additives are needed to ensure product quality and safety, we always choose the responsible option. In addition, none of our products contain animal products. That way, everyone can enjoy our products with a clear conscience. Read more about the ingredients of our products here.
Production
Thanks to heat recovery installations, we use the warmth our machines produce to preheat the process water. To supply our machines with the energy they need, we have hundreds of solar panels mounted on our factory roofs. With our production, storage, and distribution all at one location, we avoid unnecessary transport and, thus, unnecessary pollution. Besides that, we manufacture a substantial part of our packaging material in-house with injection moulding and blow moulding machines, reducing transport even further.
People
We build lasting relationships with our employees. Everyone get the opportunity to learn more, develop themselves further and find their ideal place in our company. To facilitate that, we participate in personal development trainings for example. We maintain lasting and personal relationships with our clients as well. This way, we bring out the best in each other!

We care deeply about a better environment and take our responsibility. Our environmental policy and our compliance with this policy has been acknowledged with the ISO 14001 certificate.
