General trends
- Vegan: no animal cruelty or animal components
- Natural products: as little chemical elements as possible.
- Sustainability is the standard: products that damage the environment are no longer tolerated.
- Recycle, upcycle and transcycle: extending the lifespan of, for example, furniture or clothes.
- Doing without thinking: stepping outside the daily routine or reducing stress by being creative without having to think.
Education trends
- Learning deficit because of home schooling during corona.
- New forms of education: education based on (video) games.
- More playful learning and a wider orientation for young children (6 and younger).
Hobby trends
- Line art/geometric shapes: art with 'simple' lines
- Toy drop: leaving a small present with a message in an arbitrary place, as a 'random act of kindness'.
- Dot painting: dots are hot! This also fits the trend ‘doing without thinking'.
